About this prototype

This interactive lesson is a hackathon prototype of Ottiya Korean, an AI-guided Korean learning experience centered on emotional connection and conversation.

Ottiya’s courses are built on a proprietary curriculum developed through years of teaching children. This prototype shows how a video lesson can become more relational, with Dr. Coli responding to each child’s name and interests at key moments.Rather than focusing on perfect answers, the goal is to help children feel comfortable speaking and returning to the character.

This pilot uses one Korean 1A lesson to validate this interaction model. Over time, Ottiya Korean will move beyond video-based lessons toward fully conversational, child-centered AI learning experiences.

정답보다 아이가 편안하게 말해보고 다시 만나고 싶어지는 경험을 목표로 하며,
장기적으로는 영상 없이 AI 캐릭터가 직접 대화를 이끄는 학습으로 발전합니다.
