Projects featuring Flowers & Plants
✿ Grow & Glow: Interactive Plant Growing Game:
This Scratch project invites users to grow their own virtual plant in an interactive and creative way. What makes it truly special is the built-in shop where players can purchase items to help their plant grow faster, adding a fun layer of strategy and engagement. The project also features beautifully crafted custom artwork, giving it a unique visual style that sets it apart from typical Scratch games. It’s a great example of combining creativity, coding, and game design!
✿ Petals in Motion: A Randomized Nature Scene:
This Scratch project stands out for its custom, self-drawn bitmap artwork, giving it a personal and artistic touch. It uses variables and the random operator to create dynamic animations—petals fall from different starting points and follow unique paths, while a bird flies across the screen in a natural, unpredictable way. The project also features a distinctive thumbnail showcasing a bird facing the camera, drawing viewers in with its eye-catching and original design. It’s a thoughtful blend of coding, creativity, and visual storytelling.
✿ Blossoms by Time: A Day-to-Night Petal Animation:
This beautifully designed Scratch project features custom, self-drawn vector artwork that brings a peaceful, nature-inspired scene to life. Petals fall at random intervals using variables and the random operator, making each viewing experience unique. One of the standout features is the dynamic backdrop, which changes depending on the time of day you view the project—adding an extra layer of realism and creativity. It’s a thoughtful blend of art, code, and interactivity.
Creative Games Projects
✿ Purple Menace: Household Havoc:
Take control of a mischievous purple blobby—the “Menace”—and rampage (virtually) through a pixel-perfect household in this playful Scratch project. The game uses custom, self-drawn bitmap artwork and costume swaps to convincingly show objects breaking when the Menace gets up close; you must move with the arrow keys and click to destroy — objects can’t be ruined from a distance. Interactivity is deepened by prompts and questions the player can answer, plus costume-based interactions that change how scenes look after each encounter. With a creative storyline and engaging mechanics, it’s a fun demo of animation, event-driven coding, and user-driven narrative. Important: this is a virtual game — do not imitate destructive behavior in real life.
✿ Balloon Click Frenzy: Global Score Challenge
Welcome to a high-energy clicker game where the challenge is always changing! The clickable balloon moves unpredictably across the screen using Motion blocks, Random operators, and Speed variables, keeping players on their toes. With every click, players earn points and contribute to a running World Clicks total — a global score that tracks all clicks made in the game’s history. Visually, the project shines with creative use of Looks effects like the Whirl filter, adding flair to every interaction. It’s a fast-paced, fun way to practice timing, coordination, and coding creativity!
✿ Scratch Restaurant: Order Up!
Step into Scratch Restaurant, a fun and interactive experience where you can order from a menu of eight delicious dishes! Players type in the name of the food they want, and the project responds using Event blocks like Broadcast and When I receive, creating a smooth, sequenced flow as your order is served. The project combines built-in Scratch art with custom self-drawn vector artwork to bring the menu to life. Want more food options? Just leave a comment with your request—this restaurant is always open to new ideas!
✿ Warrior Cats: The Lost Kit – An OceanClan Adventure
Dive into The Lost Kit, an interactive Warrior Cats story where your choices shape the fate of a mysterious OceanClan kit. Set in a world inspired by the beloved book series, this short story game blends custom vector artwork with branching dialogue paths, made possible through clever use of Operators, Sensing blocks (like questions and answers), and Event broadcasting. Variables help track your progress as you explore the powerful waters of OceanClan territory—known for its strong swimmers and unique tails. After completing the story, players can even enter a free play mode—unless they’ve lost! It’s a creative, immersive experience for Warrior Cats fans and Scratch storytellers alike.
